Wait…but where does working with psychics come in?
When I first started freelancing, the writing samples I had were from my book blog. Which, incidentally, wasn’t just about books. It was about books through the lens of astrology.
So, obviously, this attracted some interesting clientele. One of my biggest flexes is that my first client was a psychic who ended up having a cameo on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
I ended up working with a couple of other psychics/people generally interested in the metaphysical realm, working on content from blog posts to LinkedIn posts (yes, psychics post on LinkedIn, too).
Eventually though, I got to write about other topics, like SaaS and local SEO for real estate, construction, and art galleries. SaaS and local SEO ended up being equally fun to me, because I love writing about different topics and making them my whole personality.
Now, I’m an SEO Consultant for a digital marketing agency whose clients are car dealerships.
